Provider enrollment operations, without pretending every payer works the same way.
Provider Enrollment Desk is an independent U.S.-focused reference for the administrative work that sits between a clinician’s source records and a usable payer status. The site covers Medicare enrollment and revalidation, NPPES/NPI maintenance, PECOS transactions, CAQH profile operations, and commercial payer onboarding.
Our scope is deliberately narrow. We do not provide medical advice, coding advice, legal advice, or payer contract negotiation. We explain administrative workflows, identify the record that owns a fact, and link to the official CMS or CAQH source when a rule is federal or CAQH-specific.
Editorial accountability
Current responsible editor: Elena Brooks. Production indexing is disabled unless a real editor name is configured in the deployment environment. That guard exists so the public site does not present an invented expert persona.
Why the site exists
Enrollment work is often described with one word—“credentialing”—even though identity, enrollment, reassignment, contracting, directory maintenance, and billing activation are different operations. The site is built to separate those milestones so small practices can create cleaner handoffs and fewer contradictory records.
